SUPER Prime Refurbishment
Following an escape of water, West Nine were appointed to undertake the strip-out and reinstatement of two apartments within a listed residential building in Richmond, including one duplex residence.

Due to the nature of the incident, an extensive programme of decontamination and specialist drying was required. West Nine worked in conjunction with Richford’s, who undertook an 8-week programme of decontamination and environmental stabilisation, ensuring the affected areas were returned to a condition suitable for reinstatement.
Upon completion of the drying and certification process, West Nine were instructed to deliver the full refurbishment of both apartments. The scope included complete internal reinstatement, incorporating high-value finishes and careful coordination within the constraints of a listed structure.
A key challenge of the project was the logistical complexity of working within a fully occupied, super-prime residential building. Controlled access, strict site management protocols and close coordination with residents and managing agents were essential to maintaining progress while minimising disruption.
Working with a single insurer and associated stakeholders, the project was delivered over a 12-month programme. Throughout, we maintained clear reporting, disciplined cost control and consistent programme oversight.
The works were completed on time and on budget, restoring both apartments to a high standard while ensuring a controlled androfesionally managed outcome for all parties involved.
